Mmmmmm...Easter candy! My personal favorites are Starburst Jelly Beans, Cadbury Mini Eggs, mini Robin's Eggs, and of course the Peeps (stale, not fresh)
Saturday we took the kids to an Easter Egg Hunt put on at a local city park. Or should I say Easter Egg Sprint. We have gone in previous years, and each year there are more and more kids, and more and more madness. Various areas of the park are designated for different age groups, 0-3 years, 4-6 years etc. A few minutes prior to starting, the kids are let into their designated area and grouped together behind some yellow "caution" tape. At the appointed time, the tape is removed and the kids go crazy. The field is covered with plastic easter eggs and candy, and it is all over in about 30 seconds. All of the kids are given a "marked" egg, which after the "hunt" they can redeem for a stuffed Easter themed animal. It was a chilly Easter Egg Hunt, but Sam and Jane had a good time. They love their cheap stuffed bunny rabbits, they still have the ones from last year's hunt.
Later that
day we dyed some eggs....

Sunday we tried something new and had an Easter breakfast. I set the table the night before with a tablecloth, everyone ate on glass plates, drank from glass glasses, and used silverware, no plastic or paper stuff! Per Jared's request, we ate pancakes, eggs, and sausage for breakfast. Nothing too fancy, but we aren't really a quiche eating family. It was actually quite nice. It was enjoyable to sit down together around the table on Sunday morning.
I tried to get a picture of the kids before we left for church, but wasn't too successful.

Looks like you guys had a great Easter!
I'm with you on the stale Peeps. Yum! I'm not sure I would dare use my nice dishes with the kids, but breakfast sounds great.
Wow, I haven't heard anything good about the city hunt yet. You're Sunday pics look a lot like ours. Just can't seem to get 3 kids to focus on one thing at the same time.
