REALLY GOOD SUGAR COOKIES....
3/4 c butter
1 c sugar
2 eggs
1/2 t vanilla
3 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add combined dry ingredients; mix well. Chill 4 hours or overnight. Roll out dough on floured surface to 1/8 inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutters and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 5-7 minutes. Enjoy!
My kids sure enjoyed decorating the cookies to give to their friends. If you look closely at the pictures, you might be able to find a cookie under all of the candy!
